TCX 1.0 - Commercial Tracker Controller
The TCX 1.0 is the ideal motor controller to point a field of single or dual axis solar trackers directly at the sun for maximum energy harvesting while providing full operational accountability. Networked to the FCX 1.0 via a RS-85 Bus, the TCX 1.0 is capable of receiving stow commands directly from the user or from emergency weather alerts from the Weather Station. Monitoring the TCX 1.0 is easy, it tracks both tracker voltage and current. In addition to this, each of the two DC motor drivers contains circuitry to regulate motor power and detect overloads, prevent burn out, and extend the life of the motors. TCX 1.0 operates on low voltage power. It runs on a dual 24V DC power supply; by using a dual supply scheme it is possible to operate the Sif electronics even though the motor power may be off, thus offering power redundancy and reliability. |
